The Environment Agency will be carrying out a fish survey on the eastern end of the Kennet & Avon Canal on Friday this week and Tuesday next week.
This involves a team working from a small boat with electric fishing equipment and the Environment Agency say that it should not cause any navigation problems.
On Friday 4 November 2011 they will be surveying:
Guyers Lock (84) to West Mills Swing Bridge (62)
Woolhampton Lock (94) to Aldermaston Lock (95)
And on Tuesday 8th November 2011 they will be at:
Fobney Lock (105) to County Lock (106)
Burghfield Lock (103) to Southcote Lock (104)
