BW's Winter work programme begins on the K&A Canal

High winds yesterday put the start of the lock gate replacement at Wootton Rivers in doubt — but the wind subsided and today Nick Lewis, pictured right, and his team were able to remove the old lock gates. 

The new lock gates have been made and they will be delivered and fitted in the next few days.
