On top of the 2.5% increase in the VAT on moorings BW are to increase prices for their customers on 12 month mooring contracts by 3.1% from 1 April 2011.
BW also say they say that there will be above inflation increases at some sites that are 'currently priced below the comparable market rate for moorings in the same area'.
Customers with three year fixed price agreements arranged through BW’s moorings auction system will not be affected at this time.
